Benartex Ann’s new fabric collection, Cat-I-Tude, was just introduced at the International Quilt Market, to a wildly excited audience! The cats in Cat-I- Tude are realistic shapes and resemble hand painted porcelain cats that have been decorated with paisleys and swirls similar to long arm quilting designs. Three of the coordinates, Feather Frolic, Triangular Motion and Swirling Hearts are also overall quilting designs. Many of the fabrics are laced with delicate metallic gold and the palette of jewel tones is rich and vibrant.
This collection is built around a panel featuring 6 cat blocks surrounded by a 1” frame of Feather Frolic. If the blocks are cut ¼” beyond the frame, the block will be 10” finished. If only half of the frame is used, the block will be 9” finished and if none of the frame is used, it will be 8” finished.
The cats in a 4” high format are also used as an allover design on a black and on a white background. Be sure to check out the Hearts and Cats designs as well
